Based on welcoming and enhancing the greenery

The need to harmoniously integrate the existing complex with the new construction constituted a discriminating design factor that guided a methodological approach focused on two main areas, namely: respect for the monumental language of the pre-existing architecture and the integration of the complex in its specific urban context centered on the study of arrival to the hospital, was based on welcoming and enhancing the greenery which contributes to communicating serenity to those close others’ experiences at the hospital.

The Borgo Trento project concerns the creation of a new building which will host the new pediatric and gynecological center and is spread over 9 levels, 2 of which are underground, while the Borgo Roma project consists of four structural blocks; the main departments of the hospital will be located on 10 levels, 1 of which is underground
